Larut A is located 270km offshore, at sub block PM5 in water depth of 60m. The PSC is currently operated by EMEPMI on 50:50 sharing basis with PETRONAS Carigali. Larut has an eight-legged steel jacket platform with a 36-well capacity. Oil and gas will flow into the existing Tapis oil and gas system via 125 miles of new pipelines. EPOMS undertook the Larut A operation in 2018 and is providing Field Operations Management Services for the asset.
