As we prepare to embark on our Exploration & Production (E&P) journey, sustainability remains a central pillar of our strategic vision. In line with evolving industry expectations and environmental responsibilities – we are proactively exploring innovative, low-carbon solutions that will shape the future of our operations.
Our focus is on embedding sustainability from the earliest stages of development. For the Bambazon SFA, we are assessing various greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction opportunities to ensure that our future operations are efficient, responsible, and aligned with global best practices.
Key initiatives under evaluation include:
Fuel Gas Utilization for Power
Exploring the use of small volumes of associated gas to generate electricity through gas engines, reducing reliance on diesel and minimizing potential flaring.
Condensate Recovery
Assessing condensate recovery systems to enable the capture and reuse of hydrocarbons in smaller fields, which could reduce future flaring and promote efficient resource use.
Gas Injection for Reservoir Pressure Maintenance
Studying the feasibility of injecting associated gas into the reservoir to maintain pressure, enhance recovery potential, and reduce emissions.
Gas Sales to Nearby Fields
Evaluating opportunities to supply excess gas to neighboring operations for gas injection or gas lifting, promoting regional efficiency and collaboration.
