EPOMS Leadership demonstrates its commitment by establishing, implementing, and maintaining an Integrated Management System (IMS) policy aligned with the organization’s purpose, context, and strategic direction.

Our Commitments

  1. Set objectives and targets for Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) aspects, and consistently monitor performance to assess progress in:
        • Improving quality performance through continual improvement of processes and controls.
        • Enhancing safety and health performance, including the prevention of work-related injuries and ill health.
        • Improving environmental performance by focusing on pollution prevention, overall environmental protection, improved energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and climate- related initiatives in line with regulatory and business requirements.
        • Proactively identifying risks and opportunities, implementing actions to mitigate risks, and enhancing opportunities to ensure operational excellence and continual improvement.
  2. Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) standards, as well as compliance with applicable legal requirements, federal, state, and local laws, regulations, international codes, and contractual obligations.
  3. Ensure the protection and continual improvement of the health, safety, and security of our people, assets, and the environment.
  4. Operate and maintain all facilities effectively, manage environmental aspects responsibly, eliminate occupational safety and health hazards, and minimise HSSE risks to “As Low As Reasonably Practicable“ (ALARP) through robust risk assessment and control measures.
  5. Implement appropriate contingency measures to effectively manage emergencies, crises, and disruptions to business operations.
  6. Provide mechanisms for effective consultation and participation of workers and actively promote a positive HSSE culture.

The IMS Policy is made accessible to all relevant internal, external, and interested palies, and has been effectively communicated, understood, and implemented throughout the organization.

STOP WORK POLICY

EPOMS Group Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries are committed to preventing harm to people, protecting assts, safeguarding the environment, and upholding the Company’s reputation through safe and responsible operations.

We empower all employees, clients, and contractors to exercise the Stop Work Authority (SWA) whenever an imminent threat to safety, health, assets, or the environment is identified.

EPOMS Leadership fully supports any decision to invoke Stop Work Authority (SWA). When in doubt, employees, clients, and contractors shall immediately report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the on-site supervisor for assessment and appropriate action.

No individual shall be penalized, reprimanded, or disadvantaged for refusing to perform any task where the associated risks are deemed intolerable or could cause harm to people, assets, the environment, or the Company’s reputation.

EPOMS is committed to fostering a culture where safety, health, environment and quality concerns are raised openly and addressed promptly.

SUBSTANCE MISUSE POLICY

EPOMS Group Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries are committed to protect the health and safety of all employees, clients, and contractors by ensuring a workplace free from accidents, incidents, and injuries associated with substance misuse across all business and operational premises.

The policy aims to

  1. Demonstrate EPOMS’s responsibility and commitment in providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
  2. Ensure that EPOMS employees do not perform work while under the influence of substance misuse.
  3. Define EPOMS’s expectations and requirements for maintaining a substance misuse free workplace, including the prevention, management, and response to substance abuse.

EPOMS Management reserves the right to conduct unannounced searches and substance misuse testing within its business and operational premises whenever deemed necessary to uphold this policy.

Any individual found in possession of or testing positive for illegal substance misuse will be immediately suspended, subjected to investigation, and may face appropriate disciplinary action, including termination of employment or removal from site.

CORPORATE PRIVACY POLICY

EPOMS Group Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries are committed to complying with applicable privacy and personal data protection laws.

We ensure that the collection, use, processing, and storage of personal data related to our employees, contractors, directors, and third-party partners align with our high standards.

Our core principles require EPOMS to take the following steps in the collection, use, processing and storage of personal data as mandated by applicable law:

  • Obtain adequate consent from individuals.
  • Provide individuals with the required notices and information and verify that their personal data has been obtained lawfully and is relevant for the stated purpose.
  • Ensure that personal data collected is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Retain personal data only for the period necessary to fulfil the relevant purposes, unless otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.
  • Inform individuals about the disclosure of their personal data to third- party recipients.
  • Ensure the security of personal data by protecting it with adequate and appropriate safeguards.
  • Allow individuals to exercise their rights under applicable law, such as the right to access, rectify, and/or request the erasure of their personal data, where applicable.

EPOMS shall review and update the policy from time to time in compliance with the requirements of applicable law.

RISK MANAGEMENT POLICY

EPOMS Group Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries are committed to establishing and maintaining a risk-resilient organization by systematically identifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring risks and opportunities that may affect the achievement of our strategic objectives, service quality, environmental performance, occupational health and safety, regulatory compliance, and business sustainability.

We integrate risk-based thinking into all levels of planning, decision-making, and operational activities to ensure the consistent delivery of quality services, and to protect people, the environment, assets, reputation, and organizational value, while enabling sustainable business growth.

Risk management is embedded within the Integrated Management System and is aligned with the applicable requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. This ensures effective governance, compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, and continual improvement in organizational performance.

All employees, contractors, and relevant interested parties are expected to actively participate in identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities within their respective areas of responsibility.

Managing risk is everyone’s responsibility. Top Management and leadership are committed to providing adequate resources, authority, competency, and oversight to support effective risk management practices and to promote a strong risk-aware culture across the Group.

This policy considers the nature, scale, and environmental impact of its activities and services, as well as the specific characteristics of its QHSSE risks and opportunities. 

Our Commitments

  1. Set objectives and targets for Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental aspects, which are consistently monitored to assess progress in:
        • Quality performance.
        • Safety and health performance and prevention of workrelated injury and illhealth
        • Environmental performance, particularly the prevention of pollution
        • Hazards elimination, reduction of risk and consideration of opportunities.
  2. Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards, as well as all <span “>other pertinent regulations. 
  3. Protect and strive for improvement of Health, Safety, and Security of our people, assets, and environment at all times
  4. Operate and maintain all facilities effectively, manage environmental aspects, eliminate occupational hazards, and minimize HSSE risks
  5. Implement appropriate contingency measures to manage emergencies, crises, and disruptions in business operations effectively.
  6. Provide mechanism for effective consultation and participation of its worker, and where they exist to promote positive HSSE culture

The IMS Policy is maintained as documented information and is accessible to relevant internal, external, and interested parties. It has been effectively communicated, understood, and implemented within the organization. 

These commitments complement EPOMS’s fundamental obligation to adhere to its own standards, as well as the laws and regulations applicable in the regions where EPOMS operates.

STOP WORK POLICY

EPOMS Sdn. Bhd. is committed to prevent harm to people, protecting assets, safeguarding the environment, and maintaining the company’s reputation. 

EPOMS upholds a policy that allows all employees, clients, and contractors to immediately stop work if there is an imminent threat to safety, health, assets, or the environment

Any decision to invoke Stop Work Authority (SWA) is fully supported by EPOMS Management. If there is any uncertainty about stopping work, employees, clients, and contractors must promptly report the hazardous situation to a supervisor onsite

No individual shall face penalties for refusing to perform duties if the associated risks are intolerable or pose harm to people, assets, environment the company’s reputation.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY

EPOMS Sdn. Bhd. is committed to protect the health and safety of all employees, clients, and contractors by eliminating accidents, incidents, or injuries resulting from drug or alcohol abuse at all business and operational premises.

This policy aims to

  • Demonstrate EPOMS’s responsibility and commitment to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
  • Ensure that EPOMS employees are not working under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Define EPOMS’s expectations and requirements for maintaining a drug and alcoholfree environment and addressing substance abuse in the workplace

EPOMS Management reserves the right to conduct unannounced searches and tests for illegal drugs or alcohol within its business premises and operations as deemed necessary. 

Individuals found in possession of or testing positive for illegal drugs or alcohol will be immediately suspended, investigated, and may face appropriate disciplinary actions, including termination of employment.
