The FLOATEL is a floating hotel facility which is an innovative concept championed by our client to realize operational cost reduction and Operational Excellence (OE) via safer (reduced fatigue and stress), increased productive man-hours and maintenance activities accomplishment as well as faster response time to operations issues at site. The FLOATEL is a form of Accommodation Work Barge (AWB) located some 30km offshore of Miri, Sarawak. The FLOATEL serves Baram Delta Operation (BDO) fields. There are approximately 250 personnel commuting daily to and from shore and the various platforms at Baronia, Betty, Bokor, Baram, Bakau and West Lutong fields.
