Job Purpose:
Strategize, drive and control Marine team in Technical Services (TS) and EPOMS O&M activities to ensure the deliverables of effective Marine solutions to meet EPOMS and TS’s objectives and to position itself as the preferred Marine and Offshore Floating Solutions Provider.
Key Responsibility / Major Tasks:
Marine Performance
1. Identify and strategize floater capability and business growth towards EPOMS as the Offshore Floaters Solutions Provider.
2. Drive the initiatives to position Marine capability in EPOMS as the preferred and reliable Offshore Floaters Solution Provider, able to be benchmarked against the Marine, Oil and Gas industry standards. 
3. Active role in the development of conceptual engineering and interfacing philosophies of hull, marine and topside structural systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet clients’ budgets and overall specifications.
4. Manage, supervise and control the Marine team and coordinate with Clients, external consultants, other engineering lines and Yard to develop marine deliverables for projects in accordance with the approved conceptual engineering philosophies.
Procurement Performance of Marine
Coordinate with ops, PMT, SCM and legal, Clients, external parties to lead and manage the marine, hull and outfitting scopes, procurement and contracting activities.
Technical and assurance activities for Marine
Leading role and participation in engineerin, construction and HSE, project management team, Clients, Statutory bodies, Yard, Consultants and equipment Vendors in providing technical inputs and assurance including during HAZID, HAZOP, QRA and etc. studies in order to achieve offshore industry standard risk management (ALARP) criteria and in compliance with local and international Safety Standards.
Marine Centre of Excellence Development
Lead and supervise the Marine team in research and innovate existing engineering feedback and emerging technology and products to tailor total solution in marine and offshore architectures in order to achieve optimum performance and operability at competitive CAPEX and OPEX, thus enhancing asset returns and market status.
Capability Building
Implement and review strategy in acquiring engineering skill and technologies to enhance marine performance and capabilities in order to achieve TS’s and EPOMS business objectives.
Knowledge and Data Management
Upkeeping of marine documentation and data management processes, filing, archiving marine document, manuals, drawings, data and correspondence in accordance with office procedure manual to ensure they are up to date, as built, easily traceable and retrievable.
Manage and review all marine engineering data to ensure compliance with company procedures and Information security policy.
Manage and control in the development of TS’s data base of all marine designs, vendors, consultants and ship yards to ensure they are readily available to perform marine deliverables.
Procedure Management
Implement and review the marine procedure in the Office and Project Procedure Manuals in order to achieve industry standard practices in the development of repeatable high marine standard deliverables within competitive CAPEX and industry standard schedules.
Relationship Building
Net working with existing and potential clients, external consultants, Classification Societies, major offshore players and operators, equipment and service suppliers in order to enhance marine engineering and procurement performance and delivery. 
HSE Promotion
Implement and review road maps to cascade awareness to ensure HSE initiatives are put into practice in management and engineering deliverables in the marine engineering line. 
Qualifications: Degree in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in maritime and oil and gas industry.
